1. PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

1.1 Enrolment Confirmation

  • Enrolment in the CCSSI, the CCSSO, and the CCSOC programs, at City Eye Security Academy is only confirmed after full payment of the applicable course fee has been received into the designated account.

  • Seat reservations without payment are not guaranteed.

1.2 Non-Refundable Clause

  • All payments are strictly non-refundable once confirmation of admission/placement has been issued. This is due to the pre-allocation of training resources, planning of instructor time, and limited seat availability per batch.

1.3 Deferral Policy

  • Trainees who are unable to attend their scheduled batch may defer their enrolment to the next available batch ONCE, provided they notify the Academy at least 7 days before the original batch start date.

  • No-shows or late deferral requests will result in forfeiture of the fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances accepted at the Academy’s discretion.

1.4 Program Cancellation by Academy

  • In the rare event that our Academy cancels a scheduled batch, enrolled trainees may either:

    • Transfer to the next available batch at no additional cost, or

    • Request a full refund of the paid training fee.

2. ATTENDANCE POLICY

2.1 Attendance Requirement

  • The CCSSI™ program is a 6-week intensive training course.

    Each week consists of:

    • 3 days of instructor-led learning

    • 1 day of structured assessment activities

    • 1 day of collaborative group practical projects (On-Site or Remotely)

  • The CCSSO™ program is a 3-week intensive training course.
    Each week consists of:

    • 3 days of instructor-led learning

    • 1 day of structured assessment activities

    • 1 day of collaborative group practical projects (On-Site or Remotely)

2.2 Minimum Attendance Threshold

  • Trainees are expected to attend 100% of scheduled classes and practical sessions to be eligible for certification.

  • Attendance will be tracked for each session. Lateness or absence may impact eligibility for final certification.

2.3 Make-Up Classes

  • Where possible, make-up opportunities may be provided for missed sessions, but this is not guaranteed and may attract an extra fee.

2.4 Code of Conduct

  • Trainees must comply with the Academy’s code of conduct during all sessions. Disruptive behaviour or repeated non-compliance may result in removal from the program without refund.

3. CERTIFICATION ISSUANCE POLICY

3.1 Certification Requirements

To earn the CCSSI, CCSSO and CCSOC certifications, a trainee must:

  • Fully pay all course fees.

  • Meet the attendance requirement.

  • Complete all required assessments and practical projects to a satisfactory standard.

  • Adhere to all ethical and conduct standards of the Academy.

3.2 Assessment Structure

  • Assessments and Project Work are continuous across the 6 weeks to reinforce learning and evaluate practical competence.

  • A final assessment review will determine certification eligibility.

3.3 Certification Type

  • Successful candidates will be awarded the CCSSI™ Certification, CCSSO™ Certification or CCSOC™ Certification issued by City Eye Security Academy.

  • Additional certificates (e.g., Safety Awareness from WSO or OSHA UK) will be issued where applicable for relevant modules.

3.4 Failure to Meet Requirements

  • Trainees who do not meet the program requirements may be given opportunity once, to resit assessments or practicals in a future batch (additional fees may apply).

  • In some cases, re-enrolment in the full program may be recommended.

4. CODE OF CONDUCT

4.1 Professional Behaviour

Trainees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner throughout the training program, including during:

  • Classroom sessions (physical or virtual)

  • Group activities

  • Practical installations, integrations and Automations

  • Online communities and forums managed by City Eye Security

Respectful engagement with instructors, fellow trainees, and Academy staff is mandatory.

4.2 Zero Tolerance Areas

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Plagiarism or cheating during assessments

  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind

  • Unauthorised recording of training sessions or proprietary materials

  • Damage to Academy property or training equipment

4.3 Disciplinary Actions

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Verbal or written warnings

  • Suspension from the current batch

  • Expulsion from the program without refund, depending on severity

5. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY POLICY

5.1 Personal Data Usage

City Eye Security, will collect and process trainees' personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Course enrolment and administration

  • Communication related to the training

  • Certification issuance and verification

  • Partner certification where applicable

Trainee data will be handled in accordance with Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and applicable global privacy best practices.

5.2 Third-Party Sharing

Personal data will not be shared with third parties except where required for:

  • External certification partners

  • Payment verification (financial institutions)

  • Legal or regulatory compliance

5.3 Trainee Rights

Trainees have the right to request:

  • Access to their personal data

  • Correction of inaccurate data

  • Deletion of personal data (except where retention is legally required)

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) POLICY

6.1 Ownership of Training Content

All training materials, curriculum designs, presentations, software configurations, videos, and assessments provided during our programs, are the intellectual property of City Eye Security Academy / City Eye Limited, unless otherwise credited.

6.2 Prohibited Uses

Trainees are not permitted to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the training materials for commercial purposes

  • Publish or publicly share Academy content without written permission

  • Use Academy intellectual property to create competing training programs or services

6.3 Permitted Uses

Trainees may use the training content for personal learning and professional development only, unless granted additional rights in writing.
